Our Projects
CGMp provides a suite of complimentary programs throughout the year, including afterschool, weekend, and summer initiatives across Western New York, collaborating with over sixty community organizations. Our mission progresses via a proven five-point mentoring approach that enhances understanding of trauma's impact on mental health, fostering self-assurance and self-worth among the youth. This, in turn, nurtures a more robust society.
Recognized within the mentoring sphere, CGMp is an accredited entity within the New York State Trauma Informed Network and plays an active role in the National Mentoring Connector, advocating for the broadening of high-quality mentoring relations for young people nationwide.

National Youth Confidence Day "OCTOBER 20th"
National Youth Confidence Day celebrated annually on October 20th, is a day dedicated to encouraging young people to embrace their uniqueness and recognize their individual talents. It's as a powerful reminder of the importance of self-belief and resilience. The day was initiated by our Founder and President, Tiffany R. Lewis.

International Health Equity
Menstrual health is a human right, not a privilege. Menstrual equity means more than access to hygiene products, but also to educate about the social determinants of reproductive health.
The program will provide valuable leadership experience for middle and high school students to address health inequities in reproductive health and other services as a global issue. (stipends included)

Confident Girl Circles
Restorative Circles helps communities, organizations, families, and government develop their own processes for supporting those in conflict.
With the increase of violence in our community, Confident Girl Mentoring stepped forward with increased trauma-informed programming to restore relationships and reintegrate the community.

Literacy Development
Our Confident Minds "Kids Take 5" project encourages the youth we serve to read for at least five minutes per day. We hope these five minutes will soon become ten, twenty, and so on. It will improve the reading abilities of the youth we serve while fostering a love for reading.

The Culture Empowerment Project
Designed to empower girls to appreciate themselves for their unique characteristics, it naturally supports respect for cultural differences.
